Record a quote from a contractor you found
On the ticket, open Got a quote elsewhere. Enter Quote amount, choose Who quoted it, add any note and select Record this quote. Recording sends no quote or job instruction. Separately, adding a new contractor with an email attempts a best-effort join email; delivery is not guaranteed.
Correct a quote and keep contact details clear
Recorded quotes affect the job's committed total and invoice cap. To correct one, use Quotes you recorded → Remove this quote rather than adding a duplicate. Removal sends no message and cancels no arrangement you made outside HomeRelay.
When obtaining an outside quote, use your own email/contact details rather than the shared HomeRelay number.
