What HomeRelay does, and what it does not
HomeRelay coordinates rental maintenance and organizes its records. Landlords set automatic authority and review decisions returned to them; not every spend requires a fresh approval.
Understand the limits and check receipts
It is not an emergency service, accountant, tax adviser, legal adviser or security-deposit handler. It does not provide a human coordinator or guarantee contractor availability, repair outcomes or message delivery. Vendors invoice landlords and receive payment directly. Optional rent collection uses the landlord's connected Stripe account.
Use the current request and its receipt to understand what happened. A proposal, recorded update, approval and payment are different events.
