    For vendors

    Get work, not leads.

Your customers brought you here. We don’t sell your name. We don’t take your money. We just send you their job details by text.

    What is HomeRelay?

HomeRelay is software that small landlords use to handle maintenance requests from their tenants. When a tenant reports a problem like a leak, a broken AC, or a dead refrigerator, our system triages it and texts the vendor that landlord trusts most for that kind of work. That’s where you come in.

If you’re reading this, a landlord you already work with (or used to) added you to their HomeRelay vendor list. They invited you. You’re not on a marketplace. You’re not bidding against anyone. You’re a vendor they trust to call.

    What HomeRelay does for vendors.

Real jobs, with the work already triaged.

When you get a HomeRelay text, the issue has already been described in detail by the tenant. You’ll see what’s broken, where it is, when it happened, and how urgent the landlord considers it. No more “the sink is doing something weird” calls.

Your customer is the landlord. Always.

You bill the landlord directly. We don’t process payments. We don’t take a cut of your invoice. We’re not in the middle of your money.

No portal. No app. No login.

Everything happens by text message. Reply YES if you can take the job (or YES with a cost like “YES $450” if you want to confirm a price). Reply NO if you can’t. That’s the whole workflow.

You’re a vendor your landlord trusts.

This landlord added you to their HomeRelay roster for this trade, meaning when they have a job, you’re someone they want on it. We coordinate the dispatch automatically based on your responsiveness and availability. If you can’t take the job, no problem, we move on without spamming you.

    Reply STOP and we stop.

If you decide HomeRelay isn’t for you, reply STOP to any text and your number is removed from our system. You won’t get a HomeRelay text from any of our numbers again. No “you’ll be removed within 30 days.” No back-channel. Done.

    What we’re not.

    Not a lead-gen platform.

Nobody pays us to “buy leads.” Your customer didn’t buy your contact info. They added you because they trust you.

Not in the middle of your billing.

You invoice the landlord, the landlord pays you. We never see the money.

    Not a marketplace.

No public profile, no review system, no “competing bids.” If a landlord wants reviews, they ask you directly. If they want quotes from multiple vendors, they ask multiple vendors directly.

Not collecting your data to sell.

We keep what we need to text you about your customer’s jobs. That’s it. We don’t share your phone, your name, or your rates with anyone outside your customer.

What to expect after this page.

    1. You’ll get a text from a HomeRelay number.

It will say something like: “Hi [Name], this is HomeRelay. [Landlord name] added you for [trade] work. We’ll text you when one of their tenants needs help. Reply STOP to opt out.” That’s the consent step.

    2. When a tenant submits a job, you get the details.

We text you the issue, the address, the urgency, and the landlord’s notes. You decide if you want it.

    3. You reply YES or NO.

      • YES, you’ve got the job. We tell the tenant you’re on it.
      • YES $450, same as YES but locks in your quote at the same time. Useful for jobs the landlord wants a price on before approving.
      • NO, no problem. We move to the next vendor on the landlord’s list. No follow-up pestering.
    4. You do the work and get paid by the landlord.

The landlord can see status updates in their dashboard and marks the job done when you’ve wrapped. You invoice them directly, same as you would today.

    Common questions.

    The fine print.

    • Standard SMS rates from your carrier may apply.
    • We never share your contact information with anyone outside the customer who added you.
    • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, your number is removed from our system the same day, and you won’t get a HomeRelay text from any of our numbers again.
